On-Campus Biometric Screenings Return to Campus April 2 & 3!

On-Campus Biometric Screenings Return to Campus April 2 – 3, 2024, 9:00am – 1:00pm, Houston Hall, Bodek Lounge!

The Penn Healthy You team is excited to announce that two additional on-campus biometric screening dates (April 2 – 3, 2024) have been scheduled, and registration is now open for all benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and postdoctoral researchers and fellows eligible for the Penn Postdoc Benefits Plan. These non-fasting screenings, provided by Health Advocate, will be conveniently available once again this spring – and will qualify for the current 2023-2024 Be in the Know wellness campaign year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.)

Advance registration is recommended (with walk-ins accepted when possible), so sign up for your appointment online at Penn’s Health Advocate portal, using these steps.

  • Log in with your PennKey and password.
  • Select the Schedule a Health Screening tile.
  • Look for Attend an Onsite Health Screening Event and click Schedule.
  • Search by available dates and follow the steps to make your appointment.

At these free, fast, and convenient biometric screenings, you will learn important health indicators, including your blood pressure, glucose/blood sugar, and lipids (total, HDL, and LDL cholesterol values and triglycerides.) In addition, you’ll also have the opportunity to discuss your results onsite with an Educator from Health Advocate.

Once your screening has been completed, Health Advocate will automatically send your results and credit to the Virgin Pulse wellness platform, where you will earn your first $50 Pulse Cash reward as part of the Be in the Know 2023-2024 wellness campaign (and can earn up to $300 total Pulse Cash rewards through June 30, 2024!)
