Wharton Human Resources recently launched our revamped mentoring program on February 1st. We have partnered with MentorCloud to provide an online peer-to-peer mentoring and learning platform, based on the feedback we’ve received in staff surveys. This program serves to provide an opportunity for all Wharton regular staff interested in furthering their personal development, job knowledge, technical/professional skills and career development through a confidential, participative arrangement that is both positive and supportive.
Powered by MentorCloud, the Wharton Mentor Program is a private online platform where you can easily create your profile, share your areas of expertise as a mentor and find mentors for yourself in specific areas aligned with your career goals and interests. You can participate in roundtable conversations with experts and schedule 1-on-1 mentoring meetings.
Being a mentor is a direct demonstration of your leadership and domain expertise, and being a mentee demonstrates your desire to take your game to the next level by having conversations and relationships with the right people at the right time. The online platform allows you to connect with staff to broaden your network, obtain career guidance, and gives you the opportunity to explore new fields. We ask that you commit an hour a month, or 15 minutes a week, to the program.
